Description:
Large green beefsteaks ripen to pale green with a tint of yellow
and have a pink blush underneath that extends inside the flesh.
The flavor is sweet, yet spicy and quite delicious. Fruit weighs
from 12 to 16 ozs., and has the smoothest shape of any large
green tomato. Heirloom variety. Indeterminate. 80 days.
Notes: My favorite green tomato. Produces large green tomatoes with a hint of pink in the center. Has a slight spicy taste that is plain delicious. Sliced thick with a dab of cottage cheese and some basil will make you go out into the garden and pick another one. Produces very well. I have planted this tomato plenty of times with consistent results.
