Mexico
Description:
Very large plants have an excellent set of huge, dark pink fruits with
outstanding taste. It is unusual to find a variety that bears such
large fruit in generous numbers and maintains such superb taste. And to
add to that, you can expect steady, continuous production of tomatoes
that weigh more than 1 lb. throughout the growing season. This family
heirloom was brought into the U.S. by a Mexican family living in the
Midwest. Indeterminate. 80 days.
Notes:
These are the consistently largest tomatoes I have grown. Yields are
average and the meat is smooth and creamy. It required above average
watering. This tomato is too big for burgers but will fill a plate
nicely. I planted this tomato multiple times with consistent results.
