Day 9 was a sad day indeed. We went to the airport and sadly said our goodbyes to Ken, our tour guide that went to extreme measures to look out for us all. We also departed ways with Steve and Kay, our new friends from Texas, who were continuing their stay in Germany. The Boeing 767 on the way home was nice, with plenty of leg room and individual entertainment. We drove from Dulles, through Washington DC, during rush hour and safely arrived home after 2 ½ hours. It seemed like our trip ended as fast as it started.
