The Challenges of a Successful Rocket Flight

If you followed this pub from countdown, through liftoff, to the end of successful recovery, then the challenges of hobby rocket flight should now be apparent. While this pub was not all that technical, it should have provided a basic understanding of the unique challenges that must be conquered before cumulating into a successful rocket flight. By no means was it meant to be a comprehensive list of all the possible forces that conspire to drill your rocket deep into the ground. There is always the unknown, that sixth sense, tickling the back of your stomach, that adds an edge to the excitement. Overcoming these challenges is part of the enjoyment of hobby rocketry, and the ability to share these experiences, successes or failures, with others are the final rewards. Check out flyrockets for additional information and enjoy one of my successful flights to the right.
